Welcome to ideas. This post was created from a single Markdown file in content/blog. Replace it with your own writing, or delete it once you have published your first idea.
Create a post
Add a lowercase, hyphenated .md file to content/blog. The filename becomes the URL: my-new-idea.md becomes /ideas/my-new-idea.
Start every post with its details:
---
title: "My new idea"
description: "A short summary for the ideas page and search results."
date: 2026-11-01
author: "Your name"
category: "Field notes"
---
The title, description, and date are required. Author and category are optional.
Write in Markdown
Use familiar Markdown for bold text, italics, links, lists, and quotes.
- Headings organize the story.
- Lists make details easy to scan.
- Images and code blocks are supported too.
Good ideas deserve a simple way to be shared.
Tables work as well:
| File | Becomes |
|---|---|
first-idea.md | /ideas/first-idea |
another-idea.md | /ideas/another-idea |
Add an image
Put the image in the public folder, then reference it from the post:

Publish
During development, run npm run dev and open /ideas. For production, build and deploy the site again so the new file is included as a page.
